More often than not, I find myself complaining about the weather - it is always just too cold.  This year, however, I decided that I would spend a cold October (although some Londoners may argue that it has been a warm one so far - I beg to differ), somewhere not so cold; and one place which automatically comes to mind is ever-so-perfect Dubai. Hey everybody!  For the very first time, I decided that a getaway for Christmas would be a fabulous idea because apparently I didn't have enough excuses to travel, anyway!  It didn't take me too long to decide that I wanted to go to Amsterdam as I had never been before ( considering its a 45 minute plane journey - a lot shorter than it takes a lot of us to commute from one end of London to the other! ) I found Amsterdam to be very pretty.  Very calm.  No hustle and bustle and very picturesque - so perfect for those who are passionate about photography!  I did a lot of walking around, exploring; going down one street and ending up in a completely different neighbourhood because I don't like planning and if you're a spontaneous one too, Amsterdam may be the place for you! There are a lot of cute little buildings, great history and so much art to take in, in this adorable city!  There is a lot more to it than the name and what it is actually known for....

I have really tried to love this product.  I'd consider myself to be a Huda-ist (not sure this word exists but I think it should!) and so try and purchase every product which I convince myself to be magical, as soon as it is launched. Faux Filter Foundation The Faux Filter Foundation was no exception.  I bought, I tried... Those who know me know very well that I love to explore.  New places, new flavours, new fragrances.  Because I am a believer of all new things; fresh things, opening doors to positivity.  Leaving the older stuff in the past, moving onto better ones.  The same generally applies to my travel theory, too, because I think that when I see new places I gain a newer side to me and this is generally the case. When was the last time you did something without wondering 'what if?', or worrying about the outcome? Now I find this to be a bit of a problem in our society, and want to get to the bottom of it. I say it's a problem, because I see that a lot of people of all ages, holding back in doing what could change a lot in their lives and decisions.  I sometimes feel like rejection or being turned away in whatever I do is such an obstacle that I need to express the negative effect this may have on the lives of so many of us. In order to overcome this obstacle, the first question I ask myself is 'so what?'. This is key, because when you start answering your own questions, it's a lot simpler to picture why 'rejection' or an answer which isn't that of your expectations isn't actually an obstacle.  Stating facts or presenting opinions where due is a part of our nature, and the human race is one of the most confusing among all. A lot of those who know me, know that a lot of the things which I buy are things which I have heard or read about; or are simply limited edition so I just tell myself that I need to have it. SO I have made the decision to go back home.  A lot would say it was short lived, a lot would prefer to call it giving up.  I'd like to go with trial and error and I think life is based on this method.   Since I have been here, I have had to tell myself that I will be OK and that I'm now here, and there is no turning back as it is not an option, and I will at least give myself a good six months before I decide to return.  Throughout the whole time that I was having to convince myself, I also managed to realise that there is no such thing as something not being an option.   When I decided to take the risk and head over to Berlin, I was also well aware that if things didn't work out I would just come back; and that is exactly what I am doing.  Surroundings - or family back at home who are constantly telling me "told you so" and "well you could have at least waited until the summer" are the ones who I don't quite understand, though.  I mean, what w...

Wonder Waffel, Berlin - The best waffles and ice creams in town. Mc Donald's, KuDamm -  And of course Mc Donald's tastes better abroad - especially if it is followed by a McCafe treat of pastries and great coffee. Oranienstra ße Park, Kreuzberg - Sometimes you just have just around and have fun like a child, and that is just what I did. Holocaust Memorial, Potsdamer Platz - No matter how many times I come here and take photos, I end up visiting the memorial again.  Dadante Pizza, Kreuzberg - The best pizza restaurant run by Turkish owners.  So good, that you would think they are Italian.    Moccachino, Wedding - No breakfast is breakfast if it isn't a Turkish breakfast, so I just had to get involved and treat myself! Brandenburger Tor, Berlin - Still probably my favourite place in Berlin.  No matter how hot or cold the weather is, this place makes me happy.
